Conceptual Gardens at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2010

The Hampton Court Palace Flower Show will once again champion artistic inspiration and horticultural innovation in this year’s Conceptual Gardens category
Sponsored by Tropicana. Since 2006, the Show has gained a reputation for providing some of the world's best conceptual gardens, and has brought the conceptual gardening scene to the attention of the mainstream public. The Conceptual Gardens provide a forum for artistic, provocative and innovative designs that push the boundaries and explore new garden design ideas. From 23 entries, six designs have been selected to be built at the show, including gardens from award-winning designers Alan Gardner, Guy Petheram and Steven Wooster. The designs were chosen by a selection panel of preeminent horticultural experts comprised of leading garden designers Andrew Fisher Tomlin and Andrew Wilson, Hayley Skipper, Arts Development Officer for the Forestry Commission, gardening consultant Michael Hickson and renowned nurseryman Richard Hillier. “This year’s gardens will showcase the work of both new and more established gardening designers. From war and peace to the fashion industry, sustainability to the human mind, this year’s Conceptual Gardens are set to capture the imagination of the public” says Mandy Almond, RHS Show Manager for Hampton Court Palace Flower Show.
