A leafy vegetable similar to Spinach, some varieties have red stems. Generally it is easier to grow than Spinach. Keep watered in dry spells, and remove any flowers.

Sowing

Sow seeds directly into the ground 2.5cm deep and 10cm apart.

Pruning & Thining

Thin the plants to 50cm apart as they grow.

Harvest small leaves and from around the outside of the plant to leave the heart to reproduce
