Sowing

Horseradish prefers deep, fertile soil with good moisture retention. However it is tolerant of most soils. Grow in full sun or semi-shade.

Pruning & Thining

Harvesting

Harvest the leaves in spring and summer and use in salads, and harvest the roots in Oct-Dec. The flavour of the roots improves with a frost.
