Onion Information

Onion Growing Notes
Sow seeds under glass in midwinter. Then move to a cold frame to harden off. In warmer weather plant the onions directly into the soil. Sow them thinly at 1cm depth.
Thin the onions to 5-10cm distance.
Harvest onions as and when required. If you are going to store the onions make sure they have been dried out before placing in cool dark storage.
