The Moon Planting Calendar has been designed to guide you through a years planting using an easy to use visual design. Here is an example of planning out your planting schedule for Pumkins, just repeat the process for everything you wish to grow.
Sowing Pumpkin seeds in time for Halloween
Step 1 - Read the Seed packet
seed packet
The recommended cropping time for these Pumpkins is 18-20 weeks.

Step 2 - Find the week number for Harvest time. In this case October 31'st is in week 44.
October 31

Step 3 - Count back 20 weeks until you get to week 24. As Pumpkins fall into the fruit category (Red) the best time to sow them is on the 9th or 10th of June. You may just be able to see the 19th and 20th of June are also 'Fruit' days, however the Moon has just started the waning process and it is better to sow with a Waxing Moon.
